Kommender “Art Cinema = Action + Management” – Themen und Podiumsdiskussion
In less than a week the 16th edition of the CICAE training programme for cinema exhibitors is kicking off with a new rich programme of lectures, workshops and roundtables.
It’s worth mentioning that Jean-Marc Lalo, founder of the studio Atelier Lalo Architecture will speak about the cinema space and the possible improvements of the spaces of arthouse cinemas, when it comes to choices related to architecture, reconstruction and optimisation of the venues.
Green Cinema will also be in focus once again. CICAE invites on stage Korina Gutsche, project manager of KINO.Natürlich (the Green cinema project under the umbrella of AG Kino-Gilde’s activities), Alison Criddle, Projects & Sustainability Coordinator at HOME Manchester and Maureen Prins, CEO of the Dutch Solar Cinema.
This year CICAE renewed its collaboration with the Venice Production Bridge and will host a panel discussion entitled “Towards an international arthouse strategy. Cinemas and the film industry” within the framework of the VPB programme at Spazio Incontri, on Friday 30th August from 16:15 to 17:45 on the VR Island/Isola Lazzaretto Vecchio.
Cristina Loglio, European cultural policies, Senior Advisor of former MEP Silvia Costa will be the keynote speaker and other confirmed speakers are Lucía Recalde Head of Unit MEDIA-Creative Europe, Christian Bräuer, new president of the CICAE and president of AG Kino, Domenico Dinoia, vice-president of CICAE and president of FICE, Mira Staleva, member of the CICAE board and Managing Director of Sofia International Film Festival. The roundtable will be moderated by Valerio Caruso, director of Cineuropa.
