SCHOLARSHIPS:
According to the MEDIA Program guidelines, the CICAE reserves a part of its overall budget to contribute towards some participant’s costs.
> STRONG SCHOLARSHIPS
Are given in priority to the new MEDIA countries (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Cyprus, Croatia)
> MEDIUM SCHOLARSHIPS
Are given to professionals who can’t benefit from other sources of financing: applicants from new MEDIA countries and from other countries with no support mechanisms
> TRAVEL GRANT
Consists in the reimbursement of the 50% of the plane ticket

REDUCTION OF THE TRAINING FEES:
The participants can ask for a shared room (double room with another participant of the same sex) at the place of a single room. With this option, the CICAE apply a reduction of the training fees of €25 per day: – €150 for the Juniors – €100 for the Executives

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
The CICAE is a non-profit organisation, which depends of public funding.
The participants are encouraged to apply for financial support with their national/regional funding bodies first. If you can benefit a national/regional funding, thanks for not asking for a CICAE scholarship, in order to give the opportunity to smaller cinemas / new MEDIA countries cinemas to participate at a lower tariff.
