Antonio is 17 years old and has a dream: to become a football player of a major team. He lives in a small province town in Campania, a region hard from which is hard to escape. The situation, complex enough, is even more complicated as he lives with his mother, the beautiful Miriam, a kind mother/woman who is very problematic and who Antonio loves very much. In addition to this, Carlo, Antonio’s father, left them when Antonio was still too young and Miriam is obsessed with the idea of recreating her family. A small film with a big heart, like the one of his main character. A family drama filled with love, in spite of all the problems of life.
Notes of the CICAE’ Jury:
A very up-to-date and current movie, with a very good cast and interpretation. Supporting characters good. It’s the first work of Ciro D’Emilio. Well done!
