Nikos Grigoriadis, KIZ manager, dies aged 63
With Nikos Grigoriadis, the Austrian city of Graz loses a pioneer of art-house cinema in their community: he was the director of the KIZ (Kritisches Informationszentrum, “critical information center”) and a great cinema lover who had been living in Graz since 1970. He always tried to screen rare films and masterpieces of cinema history in original version.
A long-time member of the CICAE, Nikos was on the board of administrators where he represented the independent cinemas. The CICAE wishes to express its profound sadness and to offer its sincere condolences to Nikos’ loved ones.
