CICAE participates in survey and workshops of greening the Creative Europe Programme

• Film Industry

The CICAE submitted its contribution to the Study on Greening the Creative Europe Programme, sharing information about the objectives and practices in place of the association, including its green policy, the focus of the freshly started mentoring programme within the Arthouse Cinema Training and the projects in place in national arthouse cinema associations, such as Kino Natürlich of the AG Kino Gilde or the Sustainability workshops led by the Independent Cinemas of Paris (CIP).

The contribution also addressed which partnerships and exchanges have driven forward the greening efforts of the organisation.

Between 8-10 November the CICAE participated in the workshops following up the information gathered through the survey.

The data collected by Ecorys contracted by the European Commission has been aggregated in view of developing supporting material for cultural actors and members of the audio-visual industries to guide them in rethinking their actions sustainably.

The consultation and validation workshop programme included:

  • 8 November - Validation workshop 1: Good environmental practice guide
  • 9 November -Validation workshop 2: Creative Europe Programme greening strategy
  • 10 November - Validation workshop 3: Creative Europe Programme monitoring guide
